Breast Augmentation Prices
The cost of plastic surgery procedures is hard to estimate accurately and breast augmentation prices are no exception. This is because of the all different factors that influence the final costs. There are many fees associated with breast enlargement or reduction procedures that aren’t always presented upfront when an estimate is given to the prospective patient.
The national average cost of the surgeon’s fee for breast augmentation is around $3,500 but this is far from the total price a patient can expect to pay for this particular plastic surgery procedure. This does not include the cost of anesthesia and the administration of the anesthesia, the facility fees for using the surgery room and equipment, any prescription drugs required before or after the surgery and other pre- and post- surgery preparations.
The cost of breast augmentation also depends on the location of the clinic as well as the skills, experience, and demand for the surgeon in question. A board certified plastic surgeon in a densely populated metropolitan area, especially in affluent neighborhoods, will typically charge more for his or her services in comparison to an equally skilled surgeon in a geographical location with a smaller market for cosmetic surgery.
The following offers an idea and the average range of costs for different breast augmentation procedures. Remember this is highly variable depending on location, surgeon, and many other factors.
Breast Implant/ Enlargement
Average Cost of Surgery: $5,500 to $7,000
Breast implant to enlarge the size and adjust the shape of the breast is sometimes combined with a breast left for optimal results. There is a slight price difference in saline and silicone implants and in 2005 the average surgeon fees are $3,583 for saline implants and $4,005 for silicone implants. The patient may also be presented with the option of sub-glandular and sub-muscular implants. Each produces slight differences in results so consult with the surgeon and review before and after photos to get an idea of what to expect of either.
Breast Reduction/Reconstruction
Average Cost of Surgery: $5,000 to $6,000
Breast reduction, mammoplasty, and breast reconstruction, mastectomy, are similar in that they are both procedures that remove unwanted and excess tissue from the breasts. That explains why the procedures are similarly prices since it simply differs in where and how much tissue is removed. Mammoplasty is for women who have experienced problems such as back pain caused by excessively large breast. Mastectomy is usually performs on women who have suffered from breast cancer.
Breast Lift (Masteopexy)
Average Surgery Costs: $3,000 to $4,500
This is the perfect procedure for those who are happy with their breast size and simply need a slight adjustment in the shape and perkiness of their breast. It can help fight problems such as sagging that results from aging but is a common procedure for those who recently had breast enlargement procedures.
For anyone considering some form of breast augmentation surgery, the first step is to visit a clinic for consultation and ask for a price estimate. It is a mistake to shop for a surgeon based solely on prices but it will give the prospective patient an idea of what to expect. Make sure the surgeon explains what the price estimate entails and if there are other costs that will be incurred that are not included in the quote.

I used to use waxing to get rid of my excessive hair but it was so painful that I needed to look for alternatives. I gave electrolysis a try and it worked out but was saw slow. So then I tried laser removers and was extremely pleased. I actually tried the silk n sensepil and was completely happy with the results. It gave me complete hair removal at an awesome price. I definitly recommend it to someone instead of stringing.

In the past I used stringing to get rid of my unwanted hair but it was so painful that I wanted to look for alternatives. I gave waxing a try and it worked so-so but was really time consuming. So I tried silkn and was extremely pleased. I actually used the silkn and was completely happy with the final outcome. It gave me permanent hair removal at an incredibly low cost. I highly recommend it to anybody before sugaring.
